Menopause

What if you were to view menopause as “not the end of something, but as a new beginning.” Menopause does mark the end of our reproductive years, but on the flip side it also signifies the beginning of a brand new chapter, some of the best years of your life may well be still ahead of you.

Our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and experiences, and becoming aware of our thoughts and how we can shift them is a valuable skill to learn. Changing your beliefs about menopause and changing the way you think about it from a negative into a positive does not happen over night. Changing your mindset is a process, but the more you view menopause in a positive light the more likely you are to make changes that support you and make your experience with menopause a better one. There is no better time to prioritise your self-care and self acceptance. This starts with embracing the changes that your body is going through and finding ways to maintain a positive body image along the way. You gain wisdom and experience, confidence and inner strength, and a deeper understanding of yourself. It’s a time to harness the benefits of getting older, rather than the negative aspects that are common in our society. As a culture we tend to talk about menopause like it’s terrible, the key is to start viewing menopause not as the end of something but as a brand new beginning. It signifies a time of transition, allowing you to rediscover your strength, resilience and purpose. Changing your thought patterns about menopause or anything else does not happen over night.

So are you ready for a shift in your mindset? It is really important to acknowledge your emotions, it’s really important to be in touch with how you’re feeling during this time, and that’s everything, the good, the bad and the ugly! There are a lot of changes that you can’t control. But there are also things you do have influence over, like your nutrition, your exercise, your lifestyle, and most of all, how you view menopause and what you want this phase of your life to look like. You can use each of these areas as an opportunity to invest in yourself, cultivate better health and wellbeing, and actually thrive during and after menopause.

My 18 week Program will identify the root cause of your menopausal symptoms; unresolved trauma can make symptoms worse as your hormones are shifting. Once we have worked on these we will be working on mindset, beliefs, symptoms, habits, as you transition into this new phase of your life with ease.
